Molly Brosnan is an artist and educator living in Bucksport, Maine. Molly grew up in Lincolnville, Maine, in a family of artists and writers, where creativity and making things by hand were the norm. These days Molly spends most of her time teaching art at Bucksport High School and spending time with her husband and son. But, in her moments of spare time, she specializes in making modern, handmade jewelry in copper, silver, and enamel.
Molly has a Bachelors in Studio Art from the University of Southern Maine, where she studied painting and printmaking. At age 35 she got her ears pierced and started experimenting with earring design. Ranging from bright and contemporary, to classic “grandma jewelry”, Molly’s work is meant to be something fun and unique for everyday wear. Every piece is handmade, and no two pieces are exactly alike. |
