Mad Dog Artist Studios & Gallery is a membership-based, multi-media art studio. Conveniently located of exit 29 in Pawtucket, RI, we occupy the upper floor of a beautifully restored historic mill. Our studio provides full and part-time artists an optimum working environment with numerous amenities. Our Event Gallery hosts special events and art exhibits.
Mad Dog Artist Studios is now so lucky to have had a lovely cafe open below the studio on the ground level. Mad Dog Cafe offers artisanal coffee and tea, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and bakery sweets. Cozy indoor seating by the fireplace and outdoor seating on the patio, caters to seasonal needs while one can peruse the in-house art for sale and display!
Every September from 10 am to 4 pm more than 50 artists in five historic mills in the Exchange Street neighborhood of Pawtucket, Rhode Island will open their studios to the public during the city's celebration of the arts, the 14th Annual Pawtucket Arts Festival.
The mission of the Pawtucket Arts Festival is to promote the arts communities in the City of Pawtucket; and to enhance the quality of life of the residents of the city and the New England region by providing and supporting quality art and cultural events within the city, year-round.
Peàn Doubulyu Glass, in Providence, Rhode Island, is a partnership started in 1981 by Elizabeth Pannell and James Watkins, (P&W), both graduates of the Rhode Island School of Design. Together, they design and produce a line of functional glassware which is expressive, fun and a joy to use.
